Here are seven of the best things that happened in the kitchen this year:
#1 Graduations
While it’s bittersweet when our members “graduate” from Garden State Kitchen into their own spaces, it’s truly a reason to celebrate their success. Join us in congratulating – and supporting – these businesses who opened doors in 2022:
- Puras Paletas, West Orange, NJ
- BelleJohns’ Soul Food, West Orange, NJ
- With a Touch of Love, Montclair, NJ
#2 New Members
For every entrepreneur who moves on, we are fortunate to count a new company as a member! Check out three of the small food businesses who joined the Garden State Kitchen community in 2022:
#3 Community Partnerships
We’re excited to be working with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey on a variety of initiatives in 2023! Save the date for our first co-hosted event, a fundraiser for the food bank at Garden State Kitchen on 2/11/23, 11am-3pm.
#4 Website Redesign
We’re super proud of our updated site, and we hope you like it too.
#5 The Formula Re-launch
We created a 100% online version of our signature workshop series, The Formula. We have great a year of programming planned, starting with How to Sell Your Food at Farmers Markets, Pop Ups, & Events on 1/18/23. Learn more here.
#6 Team Building
The Garden State Kitchen team is the best! This year we celebrated together at an ice cream social. Check out this photo of the event – and give us a follow while you’re there.
#7 Better Dish Soap
Yes, we said soap. This may seem like a small thing, but we always strive to find better, more cost-effective, and more efficient ways to serve our members, so every little bit helps. Don’t forget: WE DO THE DISHES! That’s right, we are the only full-service kitchen in the region, meaning we handle all of the dishes and cleaning for you, so soap matters a great deal to us.
Happy New Year! We hope to see you in the kitchen soon!
